Within the first three days of the program the Italian History class examined the Roman theatre and baths in Fiesole (just a mile up the hill from us) and then took in the Coliseum and Forum in Rome on Thursday.  As this course is ambitious in its scope, we spent the morning in Rome at the Vatican investigating Medieval and Renaissance Italy as well.
